Why Magic?
Parents are constantly looking for the best ways to educate as well as entertain their children. Unfortunately, due to a lack or real choices, families have been turning to electronic media for several years, now. And it’s getting worse. The amount of time American children and teens spend watching TV, playing video games or surfing the Internet has increased dramatically, to almost eight hours a day. In fact, over the past five years, the amount of time the average 8- to 18-year old spends with electronic media is up to 7 hours, 38 minutes — an increase of almost an hour and a half from 2004! We are raising a generation of passive watchers in a world where proactive leaders are needed.
A solution has arrived…
Magic school is an amazing alternative to electronic media. Learning magic helps children build skills and confidence that will last a lifetime. While they will learn magic, they will also be learning much, much more. Magic-related skills that our students develop include public speaking, leadership, stage presence, gross motor skills, fine motor skills and interpersonal communication skills. Magic also helps build personal strengths such as self-discipline and perseverance — all while sharpening their critical thinking skills.
But kids don’t need to know all that. All they need to know is…
Magic is fun!
